While this is a pre-release beta for feedback and testing purposes, we want to clarify the major change between 17e and 18a beta 3 is the pricing databases have been updated to the 2009 pricing guidelines set by Craftsman Book Company. Once PowerClaim XML Release 18a beta 3 has been installed, the default database will need to be changed. Please click Tools from the PowerClaim toolbar, then click Preferences, and change the default database to the 2009 database of your choice. Beta testers help Hawkins Research, Inc. determine the quality of a product before it is released to the general public. Please understand this is a Beta release, and if you have a second computer that you could install this on to test, that would be ideal. If you do install this on your main computer, your files will be updated to a new version, and you will be unable to revert back to a previous release. This means if you want to email a claim that needs to be opened and edited by another PowerClaim XML user, the release version must also be Release 18a Beta. If you only email claims in the PDF format it will not be an issue. If you work in a corporate environment, please seek approval before installing.
