Tip of the Month: Exporting Contacts

Address information from your claims can be exported for use in mapping software (Street Atlas, Streets & Trips, etc.) to chart your routes.

To use this feature:

  1. From the Claims Manager screen, select the claims you wish to export addresses from.
  2. Click the "Export Address" button on the top of the screen.
  3. Choose what address information you wish to export, and save it to your computer. You may now import that file into your mapping software.
  4. You may also export a single contact by clicking on the "Export Contact" button in the Claim Setup screen.

Employee Spotlight: Keith Wolfe

Keith Wolfe has been with Hawkins Research, Inc. since June of 2001, and has served in many roles. For the first year and a half, Wolfe was involved in customer support and development. He was promoted to Lead Developer, and has served in that position ever since. Currently, Wolfe is finishing a Computer Science degree from Murray State University, along with a few certifications.

Wolfe has been present and active in many of the major upgrades to PowerClaim XML over the past few years. Many of the improvements that make PowerClaim XML so powerful are direct products of Wolfe's handiwork. Hawkins Research, Inc. would not be where it is today without the expert development skills Wolfe brings to the table.

Outside of work, Wolfe enjoys hiking and jogging. He jokes whether or not "moving your legs at slightly different speeds is really worth noting," but he also enjoys making software and other hobbies.
