Hawkins Research, Inc. is proud to announce the arrival of the newest addition to the PowerClaim family of solutions, PowerClaim Net Services. This is a web-based claims management solution that will provide executive managment reports, data storage and mining.

Helping carriers improve their loss ratios is the reason PowerClaim Net Services was created. Report specifics can be modified from one report to the next until it is found which types of reports are meeting company needs. We can provide daily, weekly, or monthly reports of managment data.

PowerClaim Net Services will help HRI offer consumers an effective solution for all of their claims management needs.

Tip of the Month: Creating a Template Diagram

When working in PowerClaim diagramming section, you may use the same type of illustration repeatedly. If you cannot find a preset template in PowerClaim's template library, you have the option of creating your own custom templates.

To Create a Custom Template:

  1. After creating the diagram, click on the drop down arrow to the right of the "Save" button.
  2. Choose "Save to Template Library".

To Insert a Custom Template:

  1. To access the template at any time, click on "Template Library".
  2. To the left of the pop up box, click on "Custom". All templates that you create will be listed in this area.
  3. Click to choose the diagram you wish to insert and click "Add to Diagram".

Meet our Staff: Donna Williams

Donna Williams worked in accounting departments as a bookkeeper for several years before joining the Hawkins Research staff in April of 2000. Six months later, her communication skills and outgoing personality put her into sales where she is currently the manager of that department. She believes in treating people the way she would want to be treated. This philosophy has helped to develop a sales technique that has won the confidence of PowerClaim customers without being a "pushy salesperson". HRI relies on the sales department to make new contacts and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Donna has taken this responsibility and done very well in sales as she communicates her belief in HRI and PowerClaim to people all across the United States.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 
 
Ace Conference

The 2006 America's Claims Event (ACE) was held June 12-14 in New Orleans at the New Orleans Marriot. Hawkins Research, Inc. attended the conference and was pleased with the contacts made. We also had a chance to meet many of our current customers in person for the first time.

The conference offered a variety of seminars and attracted a wide range of exhibitors. The keynote speakers offered insight, advice and shared experiences that attendees are sure to use in the future.

Bus tours of the Katrina devastation gave a sobering look at various areas of the city that are still trying to rebuild. And while we cannot speak for others, those from HRI who attended the conference now have a better appreciation for the disaster that occurred there. We were also greatly impressed with the continuing spirit and pride of the people of New Orleans.
