PowerClaim is on the Cutting Edge with Slate PC |
Slate PCs are one of the newest innovations in mobile technology, and many of you have already started to take advantage of this durable, lightweight computer that can go with you anywhere. Slate PCs allow you to enter information directly into PowerClaim while still at the scene of a claim! PowerClaim works seamlessly with slate technology so that you can easily create, print and email claims as usual. Tip
of the Month: Search Cost |
When
working in the line items screen, you may find it difficult to locate
a specific item. The Search Cost function can save you a lot of time,
energy and frustration on the line items screen by following these simple
steps:
- Starting from
the line items screen locate the blue "Craftsman Search Cost"
button at the top part of the screen. (Between the "Paste Items"
and "Save Macro" buttons.)
- Click this button,
and a box titled "Material Search" will pop up.
- In the "Search
Text" field, type a keyword for the item you are trying to locate,
and then click "Search". (You can also hit "Enter"
on your keyboard.)
- Every item that
has your keyword attached to it will show up on the list.
- Once you find
your item, double-click on it to put it into the line items screen.
(You can also click once to highlight the item and then click "Insert
Line Item".)
NOTE: Do
not try to enter too many keywords at one time. If you are looking for
a downspout rain gutter, try searching for "gutter" or perhaps
"rain gutter" first.
NOTE: Do
not type plural keywords. Example: If you type "gutter", several
item options will be listed. If you type "gutters", no items
will be listed.

it is Mike Rogers. Mike is a person that loves to have fun
and has a contagious personality, but he still knows how to
work hard. As the Development Support Specialist at HRI, Mike
takes his responsibility to the company and customers very
seriously, and does everything he can to further the development
of PowerClaim. He came to HRI with a background in various
disciplines and is continually using his experience and creativity
to help provide customers with a quality software program.

release, 16B, includes the quarterly update of the pricing database!
If you do not have access to high speed internet, a free update CD can
be mailed to you. Please call or make an e-mail request to support@powerclaim.com.
