From now until the end of 2007, any current customer can call in and receive a complimentary one year subscription to our online file backup system. That is a $99 value offered to you at no charge.

This offer is extended in conjunction with the new release of PowerClaim XML 17a. Users wanting to evaluate our backup service will need to update to XML 17a to utilize the service.

The PowerClaim Net Services Backup system offers an easy one-click upload of your claims to a secure web server until you need to pull it back into PowerClaim XML. You can have peace of mind knowing that your data is backed up nightly and stored in a secure, remote location. Online backups are protected by layered, industry standard protocols and monitored 24/7.

PowerClaim XML release 17a is ready for download. Included in this update are a wealth of new features, including:

Tip of the Month: Backing Up Claims to the Web

Once you have your complimentary PowerClaim Backup subscription set up, you can securely backup all your claims data to the web for future reference. Here's how to do it:

  • Log in to PowerClaim Net Services using the log in button on the bottom of the Claims Manager screen
  • Select the claim or claims you wish to backup
  • Click the "Upload to PowerClaim Net Services" button

If you accidentally delete a claim or suffer from a computer or hard drive malfunction, you can effortlessly restore all of your file data that you have backed up. Simply click the "Browse PowerClaim Net Services" button (after logging in) and you will see a list of all files that have been backed up to the web. All you have to do is select the claims you wish to restore and they will download directly into your PowerClaim XML system.

Employee Spotlight: Terri Garland

Terri Garland has been with Hawkins Research, Inc. since May of 2007, and is our Event Coordinator and an Account Manager is the sales department. She started as a Customer Support Representative, but swiftly moved through the ranks and over to sales.

Her main priorities have been preparing for our trade shows and career fairs, along with handling new and prospective customers in sales.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Murray State University and is planning on eventually obtaining a Masters degree and possibly a Doctorate in the same subject. Currently, she is taking real estate classes to obtain her real estate license.

"Terri has done a great job organizing our events," said Kyser Lough, sales director. "She has also been an asset to the sales department in ensuring our success."

Outside of work, Terri enjoys spending time with her husband, arts and crafts, fishing and watching football. Her favorite team is the Indianapolis Colts.
