Hawkins Research, Inc. has officially released PowerClaim
XML version 16C! This version contains a variety of new features
and additions meant to simplify and reduce the claim creation
time.
There is a new diary and invoice section, and users
will now have the ability to export information to QuickBooks.

Tip
of the Month: Merging Claims (Version 16C)
|

|
Merging the data contained within two different
claims allows customers to easily create supplemental claims,
or copy information from two different claims at the same time.
To merge two claims into a new claim, follow these simple steps:
- Hold down the "Shift" key on your keyboard,
and use your mouse to click and highlight two claims.
- Click on the "Merge Claims" button. (This
is located next to "Copy Claim" and "Export Address".)
- Choose the sections that you want included in the new claim.
You also have the ability to choose the file number for the
new claim.
- Click "Merge".

Hawkins Research, Inc. Annual Blood Drive
|

Hawkins Research, Inc. has always tried to give
back to the community and those in need. In the past, employees
have taken up donations for soldiers sent overseas and victims
of Hurricane Katrina.
In an effort to do something more, HRI hosted a community blood
drive on September 25th. This came during a time when the blood
supply in its home region was low. The outcome was nothing short
of a success. Most HRI employees who were able to give blood did
so, and managed to convince many of their friends and relatives
to donate as well.
HRI recognizes the benefits of blood donation, and how much those
in need rely on blood drives like this one. Due to the excellent
turn out, HRI now plans to host blood drives annually. To read

Spotlight: Greg Brotzge
|
|
|
|
Greg Brotzge began working at HRI in October
of 2002 as a part-time Customer Support Representative.
In January of 2003, he went to full-time and worked in
CS for the next two years. He then made a move to the
IT department, and eventually began working on the Development
team where he is currently the Database Administrator.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Systems
Management.
Greg has certainly moved around during his
time at HRI, but has always been a strong influence. "I
just believe that you should be loyal, and stick with
your company through the good times and the bad,"
he said. Greg is a talented person that has added a lot
to the PowerClaim solution. But it is Greg's attitude
and work ethic that is an inspiration to everyone at HRI.
